_{First of all, thanks for the comments on my last journal - those of you that commented. Unfortunately, I'm still in this ridiculous slump. I have no motivation or inspiration to do anything as of late. I'm really hoping the new Mewtwo movie coming out in exactly 1 month and 8 days will be that kick for me to get back into things.

Anyway in regards to the movie.

I had a feeling that Mewtwo wasn't going to be a woman, as the Japanese have made him out to be. After hearing the new trailer, now I'm almost 100% sure that he's a male. Because really, I know the Japanese love their gender-bending (No hate. It's true) and despite Mewtwo's genderless, we have all grown up with him being a male, not a female.

So to just have him a female, would just confuse the crap out of everybody. Sorry if you love him as a girl, but I honestly don't. I don't mind him as a female in the Japanese dub, but ultimately, keep that in the Japanese dub please and not the English one.

A while back there was a rumour floating around that there were going to be two Mewtwo forms considering on the Japanese website's page source there was an image named 'M2X.' There was a lot of speculation that this form of Mewtwo:

is actually the 'Y' form. I was pleased to find out that's true, considering another new form for Mewtwo is upcoming and you can see some of it in the latest CoroCoro. However.... I really don't know what to think about it. I really don't.... X(

Mewtwo does have a 'X' form, and it looks more true to the original Mewtwo but my god.... why couldn't they leave his legs alone.

Still, I won't pass too much judgement until I see him in action. I'm buying both X and Y so I guess I'll be able to have him in the two forms. I have two Mewtwo's of current. (One from LeafGreen and one from SoulSilver) but I think they will have him already in the X and Y games (hopefully.)

What do you think? I love the body, his tail is cute and his ears look cool too. I don't mind his midsection, or the purple shoulder guards. But the feet are killing me. Too much inspiration from DBZ. At least he looks more true to his natural form though this time. That's a positive!}
